AUDIT OF THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSIONS IMPLEMENTATION OF THE FEDERAL INFORMATION SECURITY MODERNIZATION ACT OF 2014 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024 (OIG-24-A-11)
As requested in your November 21, 2024, memorandum transmitting the Office of the Inspector Generals (OIGs) assessment of the effectiveness of the information security policies, procedures, and practices of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, we are providing a further update on actions taken or planned on each of the recommendations in OIG-24-A-11, Audit of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions Implementation of the Federal Information Security Modernization Act of 2014 for Fiscal Year 2024. Based on the Office of the Inspector Generals analysis, recommendations 2 and 3 were previously closed and recommendations1 and 4 remain open and resolved status.
