Dear Danielle Rogers:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has received your letter, Nuclear Regulatory Commission 2025 Observed Force-on-Force, (24G-25-0005) dated March 3, 2025 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS)
Accession No. ML25111A051), in which you have requested that the 2025 NRC triennial force-on-force exercise for Nuclear Fuel Services, Inc. serve as the 2025 annual NRC-observed exercise.
The staff has completed its review of the request and found that it is acceptable in accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 73.46(b)(9). The staff agrees that the request does not create a decrease in the safeguards effectiveness or of the facility's physical protection program.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room, or from ADAMS.
