Dear Dir. Warden:

Enclosed is export license application XSOU8868/01 which was accepted for review by the U.S.

Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) on May 16, 2025. In this application, TAM International (US), Inc. requests to amend export license XSOU8868, which authorizes the export of 169,300 kilograms (kg) of natural uranium (U) in the form of uranium ore concentrate (U3O8) to Argentina for conversion, fuel fabrication, and use in Atucha I, II, and Embalse reactors.

If approved, export license XSOU8868/01 would amend XSOU8868 to: 1) increase the quantity of natural uranium to 400,000 kgs; 2) add one Intermediate Foreign Consignee; 2) remove one Ultimate Foreign Consignee; 3) and add one Ultimate Foreign Consignee.

Assurances from Argentina that the material will be subject to all the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation are required. Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurances will be appreciated.
