In Reference 1, Constellation Energy Generation, LLC (CEG) submitted the Environmental Report for Dresden Nuclear Power Station (DNPS), Units 2 and 3, in support of the Subsequent License Renewal Application (SLRA). In the listed Reference 2, CEG provided responses to the NRCs Requests for Confirmation of Information (RCIs) and Requests for Additional Information (RAIs).
RAI HCR-07 requested CEG to conduct an architectural survey of aboveground resources on the DNPS site, identify historic properties, and apply the National Register criteria as required in 36 CFR 800.4(c).
CEG has completed a draft architectural survey in accordance with the response to RAI HCR-07, which concluded that all surveyed resources and DNPS as a whole are not eligible for National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) inclusion. The draft architectural survey was sent to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) on May 15, 2025, with a letter requesting concurrence from the SHPO on the recommendations in the draft survey.
