On April 9, 2025, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued NRC Regulatory Issue Summary (RIS) 2025-03, Preparation and Scheduling of Operator Licensing Examinations, requesting licensees to voluntarily submit information to aid in the preparation and scheduling of operator licensing examinations.
In response to RIS 2025-03, Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS) is providing an estimate for the number of examinations WCGS is preparing and the number of examinations that WCGS requests the NRC prepare during the calendar years 2026 through 2029, along with the estimated number of initial license examinations for the years 2026 through 2029. Enclosed with this letter is the completed NRC Form 536 containing Wolf Creek Generating Stations operator licensing examination and scheduling data.
