On behalf of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), I am enclosing the NRC Statement of Regulatory Priorities for Fiscal Year 2026 in response to Executive Order 12866, Regulatory Planning and Review, signed September 30, 1993, as amended by Executive Order 14215, Ensuring Accountability for All Agencies, signed February 18, 2025. The NRC has included in the Statement of Regulatory Priorities the most important and significant regulatory actions that the agency is considering in proposed or final form during fiscal year 2026 at this time; however, items may be added in the future.
