UNIT 1 Reference: NRC Regulatory Issue Summary 2009-06, Revision 1, "Importance of Giving NRC Advance Notice of Intent to Pursue License Renewal," dated February 26, 2024 (MII-24O18 A24O)
Per the Reference cited above, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Regulatory Issue Summary (RIS) 2009-06, Revision 1, to emphasize to licensees the importance of giving the NRC advance notice of their plans for license renewal.
In response to RIS 2009-06, Revision 1, Ameren Missouri is providing this notice of intent regarding its plans to pursue subsequent license renewal for Callaway Plant, Unit 1 (Callaway). Ameren Missouri plans to submit the Subsequent License Renewal Application (SLRA) for Callaway in the fourth quarter of 2028 (i.e., October to December 2028).
