Docket No. 50-482: Revision to Refueling Outage 26 Inservice Inspection Owners Activity Report Commissioners and Staff:
Based on an operating experience (OE) review of Owners Activity Reports (OAR-1), Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation (WCNOC) is submitting a revision to the 10 CFR 50.55a OAR-1 from Refueling Outage 26 (RF26) listed in Reference 1.
WCNOC has traditionally not included mandatory ASME Code Cases in OAR-1 submittals based on the reasoning they are required code cases under 10 CFR 50.55a and thereby understood to be included in the program. However, based on a recent OE review of reports from other stations, the site determined these mandantory code cases should be listed in the report.
As a result, the RF26 OAR-1 report has been revised to include the mandatory code cases N-722-1, N-729-6, and N-770-5 in the line labeled Code Cases used for inspection and evaluation.
No other changes have been made to the report.
The revision has been reviewed by the Authorized Nuclear Inspector and is included in the Enclosure. The OE review leading to the revision is documented in the stations corrective action program as condition report 10038145.
