Docket No. 50-482: Response to NRC Regulatory Issue Summary 2025-02, Planned Power Uprate-Related Licensing Submittals for All Power Reactor Licensees Commissioners and Staff:
On February 7, 2025, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Regulatory Issue Summary (RIS) 2025-02, Planned Power Uprate-Related Licensing Submittals for All Power Reactor Licensees. The RIS is intended to promote early communication with NRC licensees regarding planned power uprate-related licensing submittals. This information will allow the NRC to more accurately forecast and allocate the resources needed to complete the requested licensing actions.
As requested by the RIS, Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation (WCNOC) is providing a voluntary response within 90 days of receipt of the RIS. The responses can be found in the Attachment of this letter.
This letter contains no regulatory commitments. Should you have any questions or require any additional information regarding this letter, please contact me at (620) 364-8831 x8687, or Dustin Hamman at (620) 364-4204.
