Request for Renewal of CoC No. 9204 for the Model No. 10-160B Packaging

Certificate of Compliance 9204, Docket No. 71-9204, Revision 23.
EnergySolutions (ES) requests renewal of Certificate of Compliance (CoC) No. 9204, which currently expires on October 31, 2025. ES is the license holder of the referenced 10-160B Transportation Packaging CoC. ES has reviewed the applicable Safety Analysis Report (SAR) sections regarding operating procedures, acceptance tests, and maintenance programs and has determined that they are complete and accurate and do not require revision.
ES is requesting renewal of the 10-160B Transportation Packaging CoC prior to the existing CoC expiration date due to the necessity to update the Certificate of Competent Authority (issued by the US Department of Transportation) along with obtaining validation of the CoC by Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission in Canada.
This letter is submitted electronically via the NRC Electronic Information Exchange (EIE) system with an electronic copy to be sent to Mr. Heath Stroud.
