March 4th, 2025 Nuclear Regulatory Commission Fuel Facility Licensing Branch Mail Stop E-2-C40M 11555 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD 20852 Administrative Operations Statement of Intent As Chief Financial Offer and Treasurer of Purdue University, I exercise express authority and responsibility to request from the State of Indiana through the Purdue University Board of Trustees funds for decommissioning activities associated with operations authorized by the U.S Nuclear Regulatory Commission Material License SNM-142. This authority is established by the Purdue University Policy entitled "Delegation of the President's Authority". Within this authority, I intend to request all funds be made available when necessary, in the amount of $264,580 to decommission all facilities and locations identified in the above referenced license. I intend to request and obtain these funds sufficiently in advance of decommissioning to prevent delay of required activities.
A copy of the policy is attached as evidence that I am authorized to represent Purdue University in this transaction.
