By Federal Register (FR) notice (90 FR 12184) dated March 14, 2025, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) requested comments on draft report entitled NUREG-1482. Revision 4, Guidelines for Inservice Testing at Nuclear Power Plants. Entergy Operations Incorporated (Entergy) appreciates the opportunity to comment on the Draft NUREG-1482, Revision 4.
On April 11, 2025, the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) submitted comments related to the integration of 10 CFR 50.69 into NUREG-1482, Revision 4. Entergy endorses NEIs position for removal of Appendix B and Appendix A.4 from the final version of NUREG-1482. Additionally, in the event that Appendix B is retained, Entergy endorses NEIs detailed comments provided in the April 11, 2025 letter.
Entergy appreciates the NRCs continued collaboration with the industry on regulatory matters.
