image001.png image002.png image003.png image004.png image005.png image006.png image007.jpg Orano Enrichment USA, LLC (Orano) provided a letter to formally notify the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) of their intent to file an application to obtain a license for a uranium enrichment facility and associated materials licenses. [ML25029A252]. An Environmental Report will be submitted to the NRC pursuant to 10 CFR Part 51. Orano agrees to be designated as the Non-Federal Representative (NFR) for consultation during the NRC staff environmental review of Oranos license application for Project IKE with oversight from the NRC. Orano will conduct consultations authorized under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) section 7, which enables Orano to conduct ESA consultation activities on behalf of the NRC.
