Dear Dir. Warden:
Enclosed is export license application No. XB1371 which was accepted for review by the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission on March 17, 2025. In this application, Eckert and Ziegler Isotope Products is seeking approval to export 0.002368 TBq of Ge-68, 0.000074 TBq of Na-22, 0.005476 TBq of Co-57 and 0.00003833 TBq of Cs-137 for the calibration of medical scanners at twelve medical and research centers in Belarus and Russia.
We request Executive Branch views for this export license request in accordance with established procedures and from the overall perspective of the Executive Branch, as to whether the requested export meets the applicable criteria in the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
