On behalf of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), I am responding to the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) report GAO-24-106137, "Cloud Computing:
Agencies Need to Address Key 0MB Procurement Requirements," issued September 2024.
In the report, the GAO recommended that the NRC take steps to strengthen its cloud service procurement process. The NRC appreciates the opportunity to describe agency actions in response to the GAO's recommendations in the enclosed documents.
