ACKNOWLEDGEMENT - WITHDRAWAL OF FUEL QUALIFICATION TOPICAL REPORT

Dear Dr. Towell,

By letter dated January 15, 2025 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML25016A114), Abilene Christian University (ACU) submitted the Topical Report (TR), Abilene Christian University Molten Salt Research Reactor: Topical Report on Fuel Quali"cation Methodology, Revision 0, to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for review.

By letter dated March 4, 2025 (ML25063A192), ACU noti"ed the NRC sta that it is withdrawing the TR and that instead ACU intends to submit information on the Molten Salt Research Reactor fuel quali"cation methodology for NRC sta feedback as a white paper.

Therefore, the NRC sta has terminated its review of ACUs TR, dated January 15, 2025. However, information provided to the NRC sta in support of the TR will remain in ADAMS.

Based upon ACUs request for withdrawal of the TR, EPID L-2025-NTR-0000 will be closed. If you have any questions, please contact me at (301) 287-9096, or by email to jorge.hernandez@nrc.gov.

Regards, Jorge Hernandez Munoz, P.E.
