It would be irresponsible to fast track any nuclear project before we can safely use fusion nuclear energy. When nuclear fusion energy is safe for energy production and is controlled not be commercial but is publicly owned and operated then we should license and permit nuclear projects.
Just because AI and crypto have high energy demands we should absolutely not use nuclear power for either of those technologies. The American people and the environment matter more than tech.
