University of Utah Part 55 Exemption Schedule Update
Dear Dr. Goodell,
By letter dated June 17, 2024 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML24183A173), as supplemented by letters dated September 5, December 13, 2024, and February 10, 2025 (ML24250A104, ML24349A003, and ML25050A613 respectively), the University of Utah requested an exemption for select Part 55 Operators Licensing requirements at the University of Utah TRIGA research reactor.
The purpose of this email is to inform you of a schedule update regarding the exemption request. As requested in the RAI response dated February 10, 2025, the NRC staff plans to complete its review by March 31, 2025. Should there be any unforeseen issues, the NRC staff will promptly communicate any additional changes to the review timeline or level of effort.
