U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION PRESENTATION AT THE April 7, 2025, PORT GIBSON CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Dear Mayor White:
I am the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Senior Resident Inspector based at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station in Port Gibson, Mississippi. I would like to formally request that we be added to the Agenda for the April 7, 2025, Port Gibson Board Meeting. I would like to be allotted approximately 5 to 10 minutes, if possible, to make a presentation for those at the meeting, to share information regarding the NRC and the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station. I plan to discuss the function of the NRC, our role as NRC Resident Inspectors, and the results of the NRCs assessment of Grand Gulfs plant performance in 2024.
Please let me know if you have questions, and please confirm whether I have been added to the meeting agenda. I can be reached during business hours at 817-200-1957.
