This is an Information Meeting with a Question and Answer Session. The purpose of this meeting is for the NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to discuss regulatory and technical issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed throughout the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.

Purpose:

This workshop will focus on knowledge management and knowledge transfer for program activities associated with 10 CFR 50.69, Risk-Informed Categorization and Treatment of Structures, Systems and Components for Nuclear Power Reactors. NRC staff and industry representatives will provide insights on the 10 CFR 50.69 program. Topics will include presentations on program implementation, licensing, and oversight. Speakers will present on lessons learned and best practices in developing, applying, reviewing, implementing, and inspecting, the 10 CFR 50.69 program. NRC will present information on Section 505 of the ADVANCE Act (#ADVANCENRC) and how it is associated with 10 CFR 50.69.
