RESPONSE TO REQUEST TO RESCHEDULE FERMI 2 TRIENNIAL U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION-EVALUATED FORCE-ON-FORCE INSPECTION
Dear Patrick K. ORourke:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff received your email titled Triennial Force-On-Force Inspection and Exercise Activities at Fermi 2 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) accession number ML25008A110) and has conducted a review of the information contained within. In addition to the email, during a phone conversation you stated that Fermi 2 is requesting to reschedule the NRC-evaluated force-on-force (FOF) inspection because of a World Association of Nuclear Operators inspection.
The staff finds Fermis request to reschedule the NRC-evaluated FOF inspection reasonable.
As such, the NRC-evaluated FOF inspection will now be conducted during the weeks of July 14, 2025, and August 11, 2025.
