Request for Approval of Wireless Device - Oticon Intent Series Hearing Aids

- 1. Letter from M Mangefrida to J Rickman regarding approval of medical transmitting devices dated 8/21/2024 (IN-24-061-NRC)
Pursuant to Reference 1, Louisiana Energy Services, also dba Urenco USA (UUSA) herewith requests approval of a wireless medical device to be used in areas designated for storage of classified information.
UUSA personnel using the Oticon Intent series of hearing aids will wear the hearing aids in closed areas. The devices are capable of pairing and communicating with smart devices via Bluetooth. UUSA requests approval of only the hearing aids in closed areas.
UUSA does not allow the use of other smart devices, such as phones, watches and unauthorized portable computers, in closed areas.
