SUMMARY
OF THE JANUARY 28, 2025, PUBLIC MEETING REGARDING ADVANCE ACT SECTION 207 - COMBINED LICENSE REVIEW PROCEDURE The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) conducted a comment-gathering public meeting on the implementation of the Accelerating Deployment of Versatile, Advanced Nuclear for Clean Energy (ADVANCE) Act of 2024, Section 207, Combined License Review Procedure.1 The NRC staff discussed each of the requirements in ADVANCE Act Section 207 and actively solicited public comments, questions, and ideas on the implementation of the requirements.2 The hybrid meeting had 67 attendees including members of the public, representatives from the nuclear industry, and NRC staff.

2 The NRC issued the public meeting notice on December 12, 2024, and updated the meeting link and bridge line information on January 10, 2025.3 The meeting materials were made publicly available on the meeting notice on January 23, 2025.2 Enclosed are the meeting agenda (Enclosure 1), list of participants for the meeting (Enclosure 2), and a summary of the meeting (Enclosure 3).
