RE: RE: RE: Tribal Site Visit and Information Meeting - Palisades Request for Reauthorization of Power Operations Mr. Bussler, I wanted to follow up with you to discuss arrangements for next week's site visit on September 11th. Currently, were expecting Mr. Cecil Wilson at the site visit. Were working with Holtec (the license applicant) to arrange site access. Holtec will need to contact your staff to obtain certain information including full legal name, social security number, and verify U.S. citizenship.
If you would forward me contact information for your travelers, we will relay that information to Holtec. This information is required for security purposes and will only be required for those purposes.
Here is a draft agenda for Wednesday's site visit. Stated times are just a guideline.
8:30am - 9:15am: Arrive / Get Settled / Coffee 9:15am - 10:15am: Introductions, Overview of Proposed Undertaking*
10:15am - 10:30am: Safety Briefing & Security Badging 10:30am - 12:30pm: Site Tour 12:30pm - 1:30pm: Lunch break 1:30pm - 3:00pm: Question & Answer Session, Information Sharing*
3:00pm - 3:15pm: Environmental Review Schedule & Next Steps*
3:15pm - 3:30pm: Action Items & Close out
- Some NRC staff will support the meeting virtually. We will also share the Teams information with other Federally recognized Tribes.
NRC staff will provide coffee and light refreshments. If you or your staff have any dietary needs, please let us know.
