Dear Casey Smith:
Enclosed is the Quality Assurance (QA) Program Approval for Radioactive Material Packages No. 0972, Revision No. 0, in response to your request for approval of your QAP, dated November 13, 2024, (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System [ADAMS]
Accession No. ML24324A302). This Approval satisfies the requirements of 10 CFR 71.37 and 71.101(c) for a QA Program approved by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
Termination of your materials license does not cause this Approval to be automatically terminated. If you wish to amend this Approval and have determined it reduces commitments, or terminate this Approval, please request it in writing.
This letter also serves as a reminder that if you are using or planning to use an NRC-approved package, you must be registered for use of that package with NRC. Registration for use of NRC-approved packages should be made pursuant to 10 CFR 71.17(c)(3).
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this communication will be available electronically available for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs ADAMS. ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
