Update to University of Utah Exemption Request Review Schedule
Dear Dr. Goodell,
By letter dated June 17, 2024 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS)
Accession No. ML24183A173) and supplemented by letters dated September 5, 2024, and December 13, 2024 (ML24250A104 and ML24349A003, respectively), the University of Utah requested an exemption for select Part 55 Operators Licensing requirements at the University of Utah TRIGA research reactor.
The purpose of this letter is to inform you of a schedule update to the review of the exemption. The exemption review is expected to be complete by March 15, 2025. This update from January 31, 2025, as provided in the Acceptance of Requested Licensing Action letter (ML24303A345) is based on the University of Utahs updated requested completion date of March 15, 2025, as provided in the supplement dated December 13, 2024 (ML24349A003). The NRC staff will promptly communicate any additional changes to the review timeline or level of effort.
