INVITATION TO VISIT THE URENCO, USA ENRICHMENT FACILITY
Dear Dr. Turner:
On behalf of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, I am writing to formally invite representatives from your government to visit the Urenco USA uranium enrichment facility in Eunice, New Mexico from March 3-7, 2025. The purpose of this visit is to provide you with an opportunity to observe the progress being made in the restart of operations at the Centrifuge Assembly Building operated by Enrichment Technology, USA.
This invitation reflects our ongoing commitment to the terms of the 1992 Treaty of Washington (Treaty). We recognize the importance of maintaining transparency and fostering trust as we work collaboratively to fulfill our obligations under the Treaty. We believe this visit will serve as a valuable platform for reinforcing our shared commitment to the Treatys principles and addressing any questions or concerns your representatives might have.
