This is a Comment-Gathering Meeting. The purpose of this meeting is for NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to receive comments from participants on specific NRC decisions and actions to ensure that NRC staff understands their views and concerns.

Purpose:

  • POSTPONED* To provide the results of the NRC staff's environmental review of the subsequent license renewal environmental report for Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station, Unit 1, as documented in its draft supplemental environmental impact statement, and provide an opportunity for public comment on the NRC staff's findings.

NOTE: Due to the designation of January 9 as a National Day of Mourning, this meeting has been postponed. The staff is currently working to reschedule this meeting and will update the meeting details on this page as soon as they are available.
