Dear Dr. Wall:
By order dated February 6, 2025 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Package Accession No. ML24354A200), the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) modified Renewed Facility Operating License No. R-56 for the University of Florida Training Reactor such that it has no fixed term. Accordingly, the NRC is issuing the enclosed Amendment No. 28 to Renewed Facility Operating License No. R-56 to reflect that modification.

Enclosure LICENSE AMENDMENT NO. 28 RENEWED FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NO. The revised page is identified by amendment number and contains a marginal line indicating the area of change.

This license shall be deemed to contain, and is subject to, all applicable conditions specified in the Commission regulations set forth in 10 CFR, Chapter I and is subject to all applicable provisions of the Act, and to the rules, regulations and orders of the Commission now, or hereafter, in effect; and is subject to the additional conditions specified or incorporated below:
(1)
Maximum Power Level The licensee is authorized to operate the facility at steady-state reactor core power levels not in excess of 100 kilowatts (thermal).
(2)
Technical Specifications The technical specifications contained in Appendix A are hereby incorporated in their entirety in the license. The licensee shall operate the facility in accordance with the technical specifications.
D.
This renewed Facility Operating License is effective as of the date of issuance and has no fixed term.
