Dear Craig Erlanger:

The purpose of this letter is to request an additional one-year extension of the Interim Authority to Operate (IA TO) for the following information systems and associated security plans:

SEC-18-0002, American ( 'entrifuge Operating LL(' (AC 'O) lnfi>rmation System Security Plan (ISSI').fhr Oak Ridge. TN: Piketon. OH: and Bethesda, MD. This system is currently operating under a U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) authorized JATO that is valid through February 1, 2025 (Reference 1 ), as conditioned.

SP-3605-0043, Distrihuted Control System (DCS) Infi>rmation System Security I'lun

(/,",'SP) in Piketon. Ohio. This system is currently operating under an NRC authorized JATO that is valid through March 31, 2025 (Reference 2), as conditioned.

SP-3605-0044, Process Telecommunication System (PTS) in Piketon, Ohio. This system is currently operating under an NRC authorized IA TO that is valid through March 31, 2025 (Reference 2), as conditioned.

Additionally, it is requested that the IATOs for these three information systems be extended and reset to expire on February 1, 2026, to eliminate any undue administrative burden on either the NRC staff or American Centrifuge Operating, LLC (ACO) staff when processing future IATO extensions.

These extensions would allow for continued operations during NRCs more comprehensive review of the Information Systems at their respective locations by NRC assessors.
