In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(a)(3) and 10 CFR 71.106(b), Constellation Energy Generation, LLC (CEG) is submitting the Decommissioning Quality Assurance Program (DQAP), NO-DC-10, and Crane Clean Energy Center Restoration Quality Assurance Program (RQAP), NO-AA-12.
of this letter provides a copy of Revision 2 of the DQAP. There have been no changes to the DQAP since the previous quality assurance program description summary of changes submitted on January 31, 2024 (reference). Revision 2 is the current version of the DQAP in use and was effective on September 20, 2022.
of this letter provides a copy of Revision 0 of the RQAP. Revision 0 is the current version of the RQAP and was effective on October 17, 2024. The RQAP assigns major functional responsibilities for restoration activities being conducted by CEG at the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 1 (TMI-1). The requirements and commitments contained in the RQAP encompass those requirements and commitments identified in the DQAP applicable to TMI-1. Incorporation is either directly documented or through reference. As such, during restoration, activities at the site will meet requirements of both the DQAP as well as the additional requirements outlined in the RQAP.
Therefore, the RQAP does not require prior U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) approval.
