Steve and Rick, I am following up on my email dated October 30, 2024 alerting you of another request for your review from the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
This is a request for State review of an environmental assessment (EA) for an exemption, in accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations 72.7, from certain requirements applicable to the use of HI-STORM 100 Cask System or the HI-STORM Flood/Wind (FW) Multi-purpose Canister (MPC) Storage System. This request is for the Constellation Energy Generation LaSalle County Station Units 1 and 2 located near the town of Seneca, Illinois. Please review the attached draft EA and let me know if you have any comments within the next 30 days or by December 22, 2024.
