NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION INSPECTION OF NUSCALE POWER, LLC STANDARD DESIGN APPROVAL APPLICATION AIRCRAFT IMPACT ASSESSMENT
Dear Ms. Fosaaen:
This letter documents the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staffs plan to perform an inspection of the NuScale Power, LLC (NuScale) Aircraft Impact Assessment (AIA), associated with NuScales standard design approval application. As confirmed via email on September 23, 2024, with your representative Elisa Fairbanks, the inspectors plan to arrive at the Corvallis, Oregon facility on Monday, February 10, 2025, and conduct the inspection through Friday February 14, 2025. Subsequent to the inspection, a formal inspection report will be issued and transmitted to you by a letter.
