This is an Information Public Meeting. In this meeting the NRC staff will discuss the status and plans for revisions to Regulatory Guide (RG) 1.200, including endorsement, with staff exceptions and clarifications, of national consensus standards for probabilistic risk assessment (PRA). The staff will also discuss the development of databases and websites for sharing staff positions on PRA standards and references to PRA methods. The status of updates to NRC technical guidance and reference documents, NUREG-1855, Guidance on the Treatment of Uncertainties Associated with PRAs in Risk-Informed Decision Making, and NUREG-2122, Glossary of Risk-Related Terms in Support of Risk-Informed Decisionmaking, will also be presented.
Purpose:
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss plans for revisions to RG 1.200 and updates to technical guidance related to risk-informed activities.
