Dear Dir. Warden:
Enclosed is an application accepted by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission on March 26, 2024, from GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy Americas LLC, requesting to amend export license XCOM1124/07. The current license presently authorizes the export of nuclear reactor components listed in U.S. NRC regulations 10 CFR Part 110, Appendix A, Items (5) through (11).
The purpose of the amendment is to: 1) amend two intermediate consignee addresses; 2) remove an intermediate consignee; 3) amend an ultimate consignee address; 4) remove a U.S.
Party; 5) update the point of contact; and 6) extend the date of expiration from June 30, 2024, to June 30, 2029.
Before acting on this request, we ask your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurances from the Government of Mexico for this export licensing request.
