Dear Staff of the Oklahoma DEQ,
Attached is a password-protected (and compressed) file containing the NRCs draft EA assessing the potential environmental impacts of the proposed groundwater remediation at the Cimarron site in Logan County. Appendix A to the EA is also attached.
We request that you review the whole document, but please pay particular attention to the yellow-highlighted areas that discuss the States oversight role. We welcome any edits, corrections, or additional text to clarify the States role and requirements for the site. If youd like to meet with the NRC staff via Teams at some point during your review, please let us know.
If you know of others in the State government who should review this EA (e.g., specific people in the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation), could you please forward this email to them or provide me with their names and Ill send an email directly?
