This responds to the letter of August 1, 2023, signed by The Breakthrough Institute, the Clean Air Task Force, ClearPath, the Nuclear Innovation Alliance, and Third Way, requesting that the Commission act to approve the final rule amending 10 C.F.R. Part 50 to include new alternative emergency preparedness requirements for small modular reactors and other new technologies.
