Meeting Purpose*
The purpose of this closed predecisional enforcement conference is to discuss apparent violations identified by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) during an inspection of the Vallecitos Nuclear Center in Sunol, California on March 18-22, 2024. The apparent violations involved failures related to NRC security requirements in Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Part 73, and the GE Hitachi Vallecitos Nuclear Center Physical Security Plans. These apparent violations are documented in NRC Inspection Report 07000754/2024401 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession ML24250A203). This meeting is closed to public observation because it involves sensitive security-related information.
