On behalf of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), and as required by the Accelerating Deployment of Versatile, Advanced Nuclear for Clean Energy Act of 2024 (ADVANCE Act), Section 506, I am submitting the NRC's report on Modernization of Nuclear Reactor Environmental Reviews. The enclosed report describes the current and future efforts of the NRC to facilitate efficient, timely, and predictable environmental reviews for nuclear reactor applications for a license under Section 103 of the Atomic Energy Act and demonstrates the NRCs continued commitment to achieving this objective.
