General Comment

My name is Dr. Julie Weatherington-Rice, CPG, CPSS. I submitted a written report on the PNPP last fall which was reviewed by your team. You basically told me I did not know what I was talking about. Please note, its not me that you disrespected, it is the ODNR Div Geological Survey and the USGS among other references. They have both been in business longer than you have by more than a century so I would trust them over you any day. Those comments still hold as do the oral comments I submitted at your recent afternoon hearing. Im sorry to have to tell you but your plant is going to be in Lake Erie long before the spent fuel rods that you are storing on site are no longer harmful if you don t shut the plant down and move the radioactive wastes away although where you are going to move them to is beyond me as they will be radioactive for longer in the future than anyplace on earth has been stable in the past. Nuclear energy is fossil fuel, the oldest of fossil fuels that there is, going back to the formation of the earth. Why any idiot decided to put that plant on the unstable bluffs of Lake Erie is beyond me. Maybe they like the view. Im too old to mince words. You all ought to have your heads examined. Shut the plant down and move it before you cant!
