ED202400096, Submission of NAC-LWT Safety Analysis Report (SAR), Revision 48 Incorporating Iron Clad Fuel and LANL MOX Fuel as Approved Contents for Transport, August 16, 2024 NAC International (NAC) hereby submits a request to revise the NAC-LWT Certificate of Compliance (CoC) No. 9225, Revision 75 (Reference 1) to revise drawings40-070, 40-071,40-072. The changes to the license drawings are to incorporate fabrication related improvements of the TRIGA Fuel basket for the LWT system.
The changes requested herein are common to the proprietary and non-proprietary SAR. LWT-SAR Rev. 48 (Reference 2) has been used as the base document to which the requested change has been made. Enclosure 1 contains the proposed CoC changes. Enclosures 2 and 3 contain a list of drawing and SAR changes, respectively. Consistent with NAC administrative practice, this proposed SAR revision is numbered to uniquely identify the applicable changed pages. Revision bars mark the SAR text changes on the Revision LWT-24E pages (Enclosure 4). In accordance with NACs administrative practices, upon final acceptance of this application, the LWT-24E changed pages will be reformatted and incorporated into the next revision of the NAC-LWT SAR.
