ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF WITHDRAWAL OF GE-HITACHI NUCLEAR ENERGY LICENSING TOPICAL REPORT NEDC-33926P/NEDO-33926, REVISION 0, BWRX-300 STEEL-PLATE COMPOSITE CONTAINMENT VESSEL AND REACTOR BUILDING STRUCTURAL DESIGN
Dear Ms. Karkour:
By letter dated August 16, 2024, you requested withdrawal of the previously submitted Licensing Topical Report (LTR) NEDC-33926P/NEDO-33926, Revision 0, BWRX-300 Steel-Plate Composite Containment Vessel and Reactor Building Structural Design.1 The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff acknowledges your request to withdraw Revision 0 of the LTR. It has been determined that the changes in Revision 1 and 2 of the LTR do not significantly impact the NRC acceptance determination issued on August 9, 2023, so the existing acceptance determination still stands.234 The NRC staff has taken appropriate actions to remove Revision 0 from the NRC document management system and to prevent inadvertent review and release under an external request.
