Revision 47 Incorporating Changes from CoC Revisions 72 and73 as Approved Contents for Transport, January 10, 2024 NAC hereby submits NAC-LWT SAR Revision 48 via Enclosure 1. This SAR revision incorporates those changes requested in submittals 23C, 24A, 24B and 24C. This SAR consolidation is being done in advance of the issuance of Certificate of Compliance (CoC) No.
9225 Revision, 75 (Reference 1). Submittals 23C, 24A, 24B and 24C requested to add Iron Clad Fuel Rods and LANL MOX Fuel Rods as approved contents for transport. All submittals in support of the approval for References 2 have been consolidated and incorporated into Revision 47 of the NAC-LWT SAR to create Revision 48. All pages of the document are identified as Revision 48 with revision bars identifying all changes from Revision 47. The SAR and List of Effective Pages (LOEP) are located in Enclosure 3. In addition, Enclosures 1 and 2 hereto detail the list of SAR and drawing changes, respectively. The LWT SAR files are now being kept solely electronically and submitted to the NRC electronically, the SAR has been condensed into one volume. Traditionally the LWT SAR had been maintained as 3 volumes.
This SAR revision contains NAC proprietary information and Attachment 1 is a signed affidavit, executed by Mr. George Carver, Vice President, Engineering and Support Services, requesting this proprietary information be withheld from public disclosure via 10 CFR 2.390. As part of this submittal, NAC is including one hard copy of both the proprietary and non-proprietary versions of SAR Revision 48.
