[External_Sender] Docket ID NRC-2024-0078, Notice of Intent to Conduct Scoping Process and Preparatory Environmental Impact Statement; OS SFR Owner, LLC Kemmerer Power Station Unit 1 Get Outlook for iOS I have concerns about this project and the impacts of a nuclear power plant being located in Wyoming.
There should be greater transparency on the project concerning the risks and financial fitness of the entity in charge of the project and all of its affiliates.
Storage of nuclear waste should not be allowed in Wyoming; transparency needs to be maintained regarding the risks of storage and transportation of nuclear waste.
Alternative energy sources like wind generation should be considered; transparency in implementing alternative sources of energy in regards to risks to public health as compared to nuclear is necessary.
