I urge you to take my points into consideration as you make your decisions. Do not build the nuclear power plant in Kemmer Wyoming. I am writing you today to urge you to recognize the destruction it will do not only to the land of Wyoming, but to all of its citizens and the economy of Wyoming as a whole.

In an article from the Gerard Ford School of Public Policy written in 2020 discusses the alternative methods possible for Wyoming moving forward with renewable energy instead of nuclear energy. This is my alternative solution. Nuclear energy will ruin our state. Putting nuclear energy that close to the earthquake lines of Jackson, WY is irresponsible. The Grand Teton National Park is a national treasure. I am no geologist, but I am positive that you dont want nuclear energy that close to the sulfur hot pools.

Most important though is the lack of knowledge for Wyoming residents, proven by the lack of responses received for public comment here. This was not disclosed to Wyoming residents that a nuclear power plant was being built. In the article by Big Goose Creek Resolutions, their study showed that Wyoming residents were not told about the technology, risks, or damage to themselves, the land or households.

Please, I urge you to not grant the permit and consider the long term implications for Wyoming and the country. Renewable is still possible as outlined by the three articles I am presenting. I have provided screenshots important quotes and evidence. All are scholarly articles. All have credible references and studies. I have an M.A. in Communication. I am a registered Republican. I own my own home and land here in the state. We used to believe in something here. I am a life long resident. We believe in the land and each other. We have the harshest conditions of any state. We have learned the meaning of hard work and know the worth of a dollar. If the nuclear power plant happens, Wyoming becomes a wasteland.

Invest in renewable.
