Enclosed is an application for export license (PXB247.00) dated July 25, 2024, received by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) from Schlumberger Technology Corporation requesting a specific license to export specified quantities of Americium-241/Beryllium, Californium-252, and Cesium-137 for oilfield servicing, to end users located in Canada.
The NRC will perform an internal review. The NRC intends to issue the requested license after the 30-day time period allotted for public review has expired, and it is determined that the applicable export license criteria are met.
