STATUS UPDATE ON MDR-003-2021
Dear Michael Ravnitzky:
The purpose of this letter is to provide you an update to your Mandatory Declassification Review (MDR) dated January 11, 2021 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML23326A274). The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) subsequently communicated with you, including by letter dated December 12, 2023 (ML23326A276). The scope of your MDR is for the following documents: SECY-78-123, SECY-78-124, SECY 78-134, SECY-78-135, and SECY-78-167.
The NRC conducted a review of the requested documents and consulted with other agencies that potentially had equity in the documents. The NRC is waiting for those agencies to complete their equity reviews. The NRC will communicate the results of the reviews as soon as they are received.
