Good Morning, Thank you for the opportunity to review the Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit No. 2; Draft Environmental Assessment and Draft Finding of No Significant Impact project (Docket NRC-2024-0099) located in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. The proposed Project includes decommissioning activities, including the physical demolition of buildings previously deemed eligible for the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) by the Pennsylvania State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO). The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has found that the proposed action would not significantly impact the quality of the human environment. In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969, the Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) regulations implementing NEPA (40 CFR 1500-1508) and Section 309 of the Clean Air Act, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has reviewed the EA and has no comments at this time.
