Enclosed is an application (PXB249.00) dated July 10, 2024, and accepted by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, from Schlumberger Technology Corporation, requesting a specific license to export specified quantities of Americium-241/Beryllium, Californium-252, Cesium-137, and Sodium-22 for oilfield servicing, to end users located in Pakistan.
Since Pakistan is on the restricted destinations list (10 CFR Part 110.29), before taking action on this new request, we would appreciate your views, in accordance with established procedures and from the overall perspective of the Executive Branch, as to whether the requested export meets the applicable criteria in the atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
