TRANSFER OF SEALED SOURCE AND DEVICE REGISTRATION FROM NEW YORK STATE TO THE NRC, CERTIFICATE NO. NR-1271-S-801-S Mr. Brandon:
This is a follow-up to the letter which Ms. Booma Venkataraman, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), sent to you, dated September 29, 2023, informing you that the NRC would issue a new sealed source and device (SS&D) registration certificate to replace the one that had been issued by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) because the authority to issue SS&D registrations has been transferred from the NYSDOH to the NRC.
In reference to the email dated April 8, 2024, requesting transfer of the registration certificate NY-1271-S-101-S to an inactive status, the registration certificate has been transferred to inactive status as requested. A copy of the inactivated registration certificate NR-1271-S-801-S is enclosed.
Please read over the registration certificate in its entirety and notify us immediately of any errors or omissions.
